We’ve been in the zoo... look at the animals!
Our
school year is coming to the end. It is time of a trip. We have gone to Chorzów
zoo together with the first and the third classes. Most of us visited the zoo
for the first time and most of us saw wild animails for the first time. We could
see gigant elephants, giraffes, pumas, tigers, monkeys, camels, bears and
others. We wish we had seen the animals’ king- the lion. We were also fascinated
by the dinosaurs’ valley- the only one in Poland. Thanks God the dinosaurs were
not real.
We were very tired but happy coming home.

The
action was begun by the Janowice librarian who visited us and read some
interesting fairy tales. We gave her origami paper animals and colourful
butterflies.
We are continuing the action by inviting our mums in order to read something to us.
We all want our children grow up wise, clever and happy people. But we should read them!
It has been estimated that loud reading for your child:
Builds strong relation between a parent and a child
Is good for the child emotional development
Develops language, memory and imagination
Teaches how to think, broadens general knowledge, improves concentration
Simplifies learning, helps to reach success at school
Develops sensibility and empathy
Teaches moral values
Prevents from TV and computers addiction
Creates the reading and gaining knowledge habit

A
library is not a new experience for us...
Children went to visit our Janowice Library. Mrs. Librarian showed us every library room and how to borrow a book. We found out that plenty interesting books we can borrow. The librarian read us different stories and let us to paint and draw some pictures of Winnie the Pooh and other books characters. We are going to come back there soon and borrow a book.

...how cool is to be a child...
June is wonderful especialy when it starts with the Childen’s Day. It is the day of all children in the world. We have learnt much about children of different continents. But we watch TV and we know that we differ as for skin colour, hight, interests, but thanks God we have got one head, two arms and legs… and a smile.
Our head teacher invited children from another kindergarten. It was a surprise for us. Our guests were very alike us: the same hight and the same beautiful faces.
It was cool! Firstly we invited with each other and then we played togheter. Then we went for a walk and baloon ice-creams.

We
are going to be actors and actresses
We have just returned from the theatre. The Bielsko- Biała theatre is beautiful and its inside is soft and calm. Even our steps were not heared. It looks like a palace’ room. We have felt like princesses and princes. The play:”O szewczyku, strasznym smoku, Czrownicy i Królewnie” is well known but perfectly played. It is worth going to the theatre. It is incredible experience. The actors from Będzin played for us. We have visited different places of the theatre. It was the faiy like and cool!

What do we know about firemen?
It was a pleasant day today. It was because of the Janowice firemen. The Janowice firemen visit us every year. They tell us about their job, firemen equipement. We know it is very dangerous job. Firemen have to be fit and brave and of course as our teacher tell us: wise person. Maybe we also become the firemen in the future.
Ouh! We could have forgotten. Our firemen took us for a ride with their firebrigade car and gave us sweet chocolates.

We have been visited by the bee- keeper
Welcome
you again! We are glad that it is warmer, greener and colourful because of
flowers.
We are walking and watching the beauty of nature. We admire flowers, the forest and meadows inhabitants. We often observe butterflies, frogs, snails, bees, wosps. We are watching working bees. We want to work like them. We have promised it to our teachers. We have promised it especially after the bee- keeper meeting. He tald us about his work with honey- bees. We have found out how honey is being made, what are honey’s kinds, what is honey’s taste and what equipement is needed for the bee- keeper’s work. Look at our photos with the bee- keeper. Some of us decided to become bee- keepers in the future.

On
18 April 2007 we met with JOKO and BLUES- Golden Retriever dogs- special trained
ones to work with children and crippled people.
What is the dog therapy?
It is a special contact between a dog and a person. The contact has got great influence on a person’s health and psyche. The contact means: touch and games. Relaxed people often forget about their sorrows. Joy and laughter are always visible in their eyes. The dogs should be tolerant, clean, gentle, healthy, self- confident, able to accept others and cooperate.
Dogs therapy advantages:
- brings joy and laughter
-
develops social
contacts
- helps to communicate
- simulates activities and responsibility
- develops self-confidence
- gives a sense of life
- helps to meet new friends
- makes it easier to get through loneliness and depression
- develops concentration
- teaches self-acceptance
We were taught how to behave while meeting a bad dog. We should take position of “a tortoise” which protects us from a dog’s attack.
We hope we meet JOKO and BLUES again.

Welcome in the New Year
On
15 January we were watching the show “Catherine- Riding Hood II”. It was the
fantastic tale. Everyone knows it! But it was the modern Riding Hood version.
There were fine costumes, music and songs.
Overheard after the show:
Jaś: ”It’s great to be a wolf.”
Zosia: “No, it’s better to be the Riding Hood.”
Jaś: “But I like eating.”
January is
very hard for us as for learning. From some time we have been preparing a
surprise for our grandmas and granddads. It’s also going to be the play- very
modern one.
We
are looking forward to seeing our grandparents- the
meeting is on 31 January at 10 o’clock.
On 26 January we are having a carnival party. We are going to wear special carnival costumes.

Hurray! The Santa Clouse has visited us!
We
also had luck to see Father Christmas who came to us with full bag of presents.
In the beginning we were afraid that the Santa would not have enough presents for us. But it was not true.
We said thank you to our guest and we promised we will be very calm and obedient. We have invited the Santa to come to us in a year time.
See our pictures with the Santa Clouse in Gallery.

The colorful autumn has passed. It is dark, wet and cold.
It is good that we have collected the yellow autumn treasures.
Colorful leaves, pumpkins make our classroom more pleasant. We are never bored in our kindergarten even if outside it is windy and rainy.
We know what to wear when it is raining. Colorful umbrellas make our humors are excellent. Our works present colorful autumn. See our works.
MEETING
WITH FOREST AND WILD BOARS FAMILY
On 19 October 2006 our teachers took us for a trip to the nearest forest. There
a very nice and patient hunter was already waiting for us. Mr Marek Handzlik
answered every question we asked. Meeting with the wild boars family was the
biggest attraction for us. We were feeding them with acorns. Then we took a
picture. Going back we picked colourful leaves and interesting cones. We were
very tired but happy. Now we are waiting for next excursions.

Hey everyone! Greetings in the autumn atmosphere.
![]()
This year autumn is sunny and warm. It is the harvest time and birds migrations.
We had the real bonfire near
Mrs. Marzenka place. Our teachers took care of
us and we were very nice and
calm. The potatoes from the bonfire were delicious. (“The Elemelek sparrow, the
potato and the bubble” story is warmly recommended for you). Unfortunately we
did not take any pictures of our bonfire doings but we had one when we come back
to school.
SEE
Autumn is full of colors. We know about it. Have a look at our works.
OVERHEARED: during the walk:
ADAŚ: “… what beautiful autumn…”
JOLA: “ and where is it going to?”

Krzyś:… what tall teachers they are!
Tomek: I hope that some day we ‘re going to be tall, too.

It’s in short. We are going to inform you all year long. Let’s see several artistic works:
On the 16 of September we cleaned the world. We cleaned the Janowice recreation area. We were surprised that so many rubbish was left on the grass. Look at the rubbish bags:
Throw the rubbish into the dustbins. The world is beautiful without the rubbish!
Kacper: So many rubbish and no one is picking it up!
Natalia: “( because… they closed)”
Natalia: We’re going to pick them up as others lost their mind.
After the cleaning we were playing on the school playground.
